SPECIAL GUEST - PETER ADAMS

Author and artist, Peter Adams, will be joining us from the Pacific Northwest. He and his wife Kate have put their talents together to put into print several books with valuable information specific to maples and pines, illustrated with Peter’s drawings.
Well known for his talent as a painter, Peter helps his students tap into the ‘right brain’ where our own visual, creative, non-verbal skills reside, and find for ourselves the bonsai in our little trees.
In 2003 he was awarded the highest honor from the Association of British Bonsai Artists (ABBA) for raising the standard of British bonsai to that of an art form.

SPECIAL WORKSHOP with PETER ADAMS

DESIGN SESSION *
Spend the day with well-respected artist and author working with your trees in an indepth study. Peter will draw future design ideas to personalize the history. Lunch included.
Fee: $125 Observer: $35
Date: Thursday, October 13 - 9:30am to 5pm

MAPLE OR PINE WORKSHOP *
Peter has authored books on both maples and pines as bonsai. The class will focus on development and care of either Mikawa Japanese black pine (1-1.5”) or Sharp’s Pygmy Japanese maple (1+”). You may also bring one of your own trees for consultation. Specify pine or maple with registration.
Fee: $260 Observer: $35
